Happy Wednesday. Looks like we’re back on the twice weekly schedule, at least for a bit longer. Flashback is almost over, so when I’m back to color things might have to slow down again. Page 83 on Friday!

So the Wizard World Comic Con is coming to St. Louis in March. I’d love to get a table, but I don’t really think I have a big enough fan base to justify the expense of getting a table, printing comics, etc. Here’s your chance to prove me wrong. If I can sell enough original pages of the Moose Riders to cover the con expenses in time to reserve a table in Artist Alley and get a stack of comics printed, then I’m in. If you are interested in buying a page of original Moose Riders art, look through the archive and let me know which page(s) you are interested in. I’ll let you know if it’s still available, how much it costs, and I’ll show you a raw scan of the page with no Photoshop enhancement so you can decide if you still want it or not. Most pages are in the $50 range, give or take, and two-page spreads will only be sold as a pair.

If I can’t sell enough to cover my costs, I’m going to try to at least get a ticket to check out the con. Looks like fun!

So the last couple of days I’ve been posting in-progress shots of this page, and here is the end result. Probably not very helpful or enlightening, but I wanted to have some sort of content on Wednesday and today and thought I’d try the whole pulling-back-the-curtain thing for a change. Hoping to have two new pages next week, but I’m still running behind schedule. Should make some headway tomorrow.

So if you saw yesterday’s post, you see that things have changed a bit from that initial scan. It’s not uncommon for me to make changes to the line art after I get it into Photoshop, but this page has more big edits/new panels than is typical. This is a Work-in-Progress shot of the page as I’m adding the grey tones. Check back tomorrow for the finished page!

Wednesday was a two-pager, so I’ve got this for today instead of a normal Moose Riders update. Also, this is filed under the Moose Riders Category, but is in the “other…” comic title so that it’s removed from the normal storyline. In case you’re wondering.

Anyhow, at this precise moment I have completely lost my buffer. Desperately trying to get a couple pages finished up for next week, but things are hectic right now. Hope you have a Merry Christmas (or had a Happy Chanukah) and if the Force is with me, I’ll be posting again before the New Year, but it’ll be tricky. Peace!

Not pleased with the “Meat Meister: Master of Meat” logo on the cap, so might tweak it some in the future.

Just so you know–next Wednesday’s update will be a 2-page spread, so instead of having a regular Moose Riders update on Friday, I think I’ll be posting a sketchbook page or something like that. Apologies in advance. Still planning on keeping with the 2-page/week schedule over the Christmas/New Years break, but that means I need to get a stack of pages drawn and scanned toot sweet. Later!

I’m really falling behind. I like the twice-a-week thing, but it’s tough to keep up, especially this time of year. Again, I’ll try my best to stick with the 2x schedule, but as we get closer to exam time and Christmas, don’t be surprised if I drop the ball.
