Ok, so there’s this group of cartoonists/illustrators that have been doing this awesome fundraising thing to help put a stop to human trafficking. The theme this time around is “Epic Snowball Fight!” Each participant is drawing one of their female characters either throwing or getting hit by a snowball. All these characters will be put together into a big snowy Battle Royale wallpaper for the fine folks who donate during the big drive in January. Cool, right? Anyhow, I volunteered to be a part of it. I’m drawing Lola–you can see an early shot of the WIP over on my dribble account.

I know, huge delay. I’ve got a couple web design gigs that have been distracting me. Sorry.
Wanted to point out that the Grandpa Sex Machine Facebook page is now a Chrome Dome Comics page, so if you felt uncomfortable “liking” a page with “Sex” in the title, that is no longer an issue. For those of you who liked the page a long time ago as a fan of Grandpa, I apologize for hijacking it away from him. Just seemed to be pretty much irrelevant given the lack of GSM updates.
Anyhow, hope you dig the new Moose Riders page. Not sure when page 27 will be up.

Changes
I’ve upgraded to the latest version of WordPress, Webcomic, and Inkblot, and a few things have changed a bit. Still trying to tweak some stuff, but I wanted to point out the new Character pages I’ve got set up for the Moose Riders. This finally gives the kids their names, which should make my son happy. Now if you look at the bottom of each individual post, there will be a list of each of the main characters. If you click a name, it will take you to a page with a character description and a list of every page that character appears on. Cool, huh? Anyhow, here they are: Lola, Westley, and Moose.
Busy week. Will try to get 25 finished up later next week.

Sorry for the huge delay. This page frustrated me.
Farts.
Page 24 is kicking my ass. I keep re-drawing bits with repeatedly disappointing results. Plus, a water main broke in my front yard. Sorry for the continued delay.

Here you go–almost a year and the first zombie finally shows up. Also, the reason that page up there looks so small is because it’s actually TWO pages crammed into the space I normally use for one page. If you want to see a larger version of this 2-page spread, just click this handy-dandy thumbnail image on the right:
I know zombies have a bit of a following, but that also means that some (many?) people are sick of the whole zombie thing by now. I’ve been wanting to do a zombie comic for a long time, and this is it. If you don’t dig it, that’s fine. For those of you that are sticking with me and my hit-and-miss schedule, I appreciate it.

Just had my daughter at Children’s Hospital twice in the last couple weeks–reminds me that this is the time of year to give Child’s Play a plug. If you are looking for a worthwhile charity to be generous to, look no further.
Last week was the opening for the BFA Thesis Exhibit at SIUE, and I went to see the work of one of my former students. Fantastic stuff. At times like this it feels good to be an art teacher. I get these occasional brushes with greatness, and even though I can’t take credit for her prodigious talent or drive, at least I had the opportunity to witness some of its development.
I hope to have another update before Christmas, but if I don’t, I hope you have a Merry Christmas. Also, if you were celebrating Hanukkah last week, I hope it was happy.
PS – I hate drawing vehicles, and have unfortunately scripted myself a long string of pages featuring this SUV. Ugh.
PPS – I really don’t think I have enough readers to sell stuff, but I thought I’d just throw out the question here to check. If I would offer the original artwork for the Moose Riders (or anything else, for that matter) for sale, would I get any takers? No big deal, but I just thought I’d try to get a little extra Christmas cash if possible.

Hope your Thanksgiving was swell.
